Overview
Seniorverse can display in more than one language. If your center has additional languages enabled, you can switch your own display language — for example, between English and Español — from the Language option. Your choice changes the interface right away and stays with you.
Before You Begin
- You must be signed in to Seniorverse.
- Your center must have more than one language enabled. English is always available; a center administrator turns on additional languages such as Español. If only English is enabled, the Language option does not appear.
Steps
Step 1: Confirm the Language option is available
The Language option appears only when your center has more than one language enabled. If you do not see it in the places described below, your center currently has only English available — ask your Center Administrator to enable additional languages.

Step 2: Open the Language option
Open the Language option in either of these places:
- At the top-right of the screen, select the Menu button (the vertical three-dots icon) and choose Language, or
- On the center Menu page, select Language in your profile card.

Step 3: Choose your language
A list of the languages your center offers appears (for example, English and Español). A check mark shows your current language. Select the language you want. The interface updates immediately, and your choice is remembered.

The Family Portal
Language support applies across Seniorverse, not just the staff app. The Family Portal (Connect), where families view their loved one's care information, is shown in the languages your center provides. Because languages are a center-level setting, the same set of languages your administrator enables is available to both staff and families.
Tips
- English is always available. Additional languages, such as Español, are turned on per center by an administrator.
- Your choice is personal. Changing your language affects only your view, not other users.
- Switch back anytime. Reopen the Language option and choose a different language whenever you like.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| I do not see a Language option | Your center has only English enabled. Ask your Center Administrator to enable additional languages. |
| The language I want is not listed | The list shows only the languages your center has enabled. Ask your administrator to add the language you need. |
| Some text did not change language | Certain items (such as names and data you or your center entered) are shown as typed and are not translated. |
| Families need the portal in another language | Languages are set at the center level. Ask your administrator to enable the language so it is available in the Family Portal as well. |
